Klinische informatie

Een vermindering van het aantal 'class-switched' memory B-cellen behoort tot de klinische criteria voor de diagnose van common variable immuundeficiëntie (CVID). Daarnaast wordt een daling gezien bij andere primaire immuundeficiëntie syndromen (PID). Een normaal aantal class-switched B-cellen sluit de diagnose van CVID/PID echter niet uit.
